The system ships with an SLXD4 single-channel receiver, an SLXD2 handheld transmitter with the legendary SM58 cardioid dynamic capsule, antenna and rackmount accessories, and 2 AA batteries.

The SLXD24/SM58 Wireless System utilizes digital predictive switching diversity technology, with a 44 MHz tuning bandwidth (region dependent) and 32 available channels per frequency band (region dependent). The system supports up to 10 compatible systems per 6MHz TV band and 12 systems per 8 MHz band. It offers RF Scan and IR Sync for quickly finding an open frequency and linking the transmitter to the SLXD-D receiver. Pairing of transmitters and receivers is easily accomplished through IR scan and sync.

The system's battery life can reach up to 8 hours from 2 AA batteries. You can upgrade to the optional Shure SB903 Lithium-ion rechargeable battery to monitor battery charge status in hours and minutes, as well as battery life and health statistics.

The SLXD24/SM58 Wireless System delivers crystal-clear 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio with an extended 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response (microphone dependent) for natural and clear sound. It provides a stable digital RF signal transmission and a 120 dB dynamic range, making it excellent for vocals, acoustic, and wind instruments.
